The plant world exists in symbiotic relationship with the human and other kingdoms; however, less is known about its mystery, magic, and potent medicinal values in mainstream three dimensional systems of knowledge. In this article I explore the unique role of the plant people in everyday life and articulate the conditions for living in harmony with all the worlds that we exist simultaneously with. This is not an exhaustive thesis, but rather a sketch of the contributions of plants to civilisation, the limitations imbedded in orthodoxy, and how the ancient formulas of healing and inner knowing can help ameliorate the plight of modern society.
